Our
recruiting services are offered with the the goal of forming enduring
relationships with our clients. Part of our philosophy is that by
providing quality service on an ongoing basis, a bond of trust can be
formed that will allow our clientele to rely upon us each time they
seek to establish a new division in Panama. By knowing that The
Barrington Group, Inc. will be charged with all responsibilities
related to local recruiting, companies can keep focused on their
business expansion strategies. In today's market, a major barrier to
success is the inability to hire the key people who can make a
difference in the bottom line, quickly and efficiently. It is
essential that we maintain a professional and informed working
relationship with clients so that when they do need our assistance, we
can bring intimate knowledge and understanding of the operation to
bear immediately. We work with clients to ensure that they hire
leaders in their respective areas who are qualified, experienced and
motivated.
Circumstances Warranting Our Services
If you are seeking to establish a new division or branch in Panama,
you will require our assistance. You may in fact consider The
Barrington Group, Inc. your interim branch, until your business is
established, because we will perform all necessary steps and interface
directly with all service providers. Attempts by companies to do all
that is required in-house, from a remote location proves costly.
All successful companies get bigger. Bigger means more specialized
needs and usually more movement at all levels of the organizational
chart. The best companies usually have strong recruiting partners.
They, more than anyone, know that the wellspring of their success is
good people, not just good products.
Working With Your Internal Human Resource Department
Top internal recruiters always work with preferred specialty external
recruiters who specialize in their industry. They rely on us to do
something they can't do - maintain proactive relationships with top
candidates in Panama. We know the star candidates and they trust us
implicitly and this trust translates into your trust us. We know when
top local executives are making career changes, we also know when
downsizing will allow contracting of large groups of skilled labor. We
always strive to bring you the best the marketplace currently offers.
Our Operation
Our business is primarily Retained Search and Contract Recruiting. We
work on recruiting assignments for client companies for a fee. We
represent clients who are interested in interviewing and hiring the
most experienced and talented candidates in their industry. With a
Retained Search agreement, the Client receives a right of first
refusal on all candidates who are identified during that search. If
the Client is not interested in a particular candidate, we are then
free to present that candidate to our non-retained clients, with the
goal of placing them on a contingency fee basis.
Fee Structure
Our fees are based on two components - work for hire and/or
successfully completed placements of permanent or contract employees.
When clients retain us, or hire us on contract, they want performance
within a specified time period. This requires us to commit our time
and resources to them exclusively on a daily basis. Retained Search
and Contract Recruiting, as committed client projects, both require an
initial investment because there are time and material costs
associated with starting up a new search assignment. Generally, the
Retained or Contract Recruiting pricing works as follows:
- An agreed upon percentage of a candidate's
annual compensation as our final fee. We require 1/3rd of the total
fee to start the project, another 1/3rd after initial interviews of
qualified candidates, and the balance due on the start date of a
successful hire. Retained Search is usually reserved for time
critical situations, a sudden important vacancy, the need to work
confidentially to replace someone, or the Client has identified
specific individuals they want us to attract for them. We guarantee
right of first refusal for the Client on all candidates identified.
We work until we complete the assignment successfully.
Contract Search - We designate a block of time daily to
represent your company on a variety ofpositions. Our assignment
is to fill as many of these as possible, within the contract period.
We require an initial deposit; the amount is dependent upon a variety
of specifics tailored to your situation. Our fee is a percentage of a
candidate's total annual compensation, minus any deposits.
Contingency Placement - We present candidates to companies we
have strong relationships with, where we recognize a candidate's
potential for strong career growth. We make recommendations to
candidates and if interested, we contact these companies who have
positions available that fit the candidate's skills and background. No
initial deposit is required but the candidates are submitted at our
discretion. The contingency fee is only due upon start date of a
successful hire.
Timeframe
The Barrington Group, Inc. allows 30-60 days for a Retained Search.
Accelerated placement may be done for a greater fee. If we are getting
limited interest from candidates on a position we are recruiting for,
we will engage the Client Company in discussions early to streamline
the process. Contract Recruiting generally moves at a faster clip due
to multiple positions offered. We are under no specific obligation to
fill the positions and do not specifically represent any particular
client.
